Welcome to my design world.

I'm Alyssa Long, a product designer based in San Francisco. My career was born from a need to create and tinker. When I'm not in Figma, I'm at my local pottery studio, doodling in the park, designing a friend's next tattoo, or in Pinterest collecting shiny bits of inspiration. I love being a designer because I love paving the way for people to easily accomplish their goals. I hope to leave the digital world more beautiful, useful, and accessible than I found it.

Some more about my background: I studied economics and communication in college which helped me understand business, but I leaned on my art background to land my first role in communication design. I developed a passion for product design through freelance gigs and at startups as a creative team of one, developing a range of multidisciplinary skills and a strong sense of adaptability, which comes in handy in the ever-evolving design world (hello AI).
